Uncle Stephen Comes To Visit!

While the entire Boettcher Family is away at Youth Camp this week, the remains of the family, namely the Moons and Stephen, are getting to spend time together. We got Stephen at 10 yesterday and we hung out at the Rayasky's pool for a while before coming home. He fed her her cottage cheese sandwich in the backseat and when we got home she was covered in cottage cheese! Besides that though, he's been the BIGGEST help! Last night he cleaned her all up after dinner and got her out of her high chair all by himself. He pushed her in the stroller on a walk with me yesterday and again on a walk to the park to play Frisbee with Jake last night. Today he was incredibly helpful at Chic Fil A where we met up with the William's and Maribeth and David to enjoy some free breakfast sandwiches! And he even did some grocery shopping with me without complaining! I have to give him up to the Gaffney's tonight cuz they wanted a turn with him too, but I'm really going to miss him and so is Mackenzie! She adores her Uncle Stephen! Here she is "asking" me if it was ok to wake him up this morning.
And here she is attacking him with all her love this morning!
He was so kind and got up in the tubes with her at Chic Fil A.

Here she is with her bud, Caleb. She felt like such a big girl with all these big kids!
So, in conclusion of my sad, sad, diatribe last week, I just want to say that Jake made it home safely last Friday night/Saturday morning. We didn't actually get home from the airport until 3:30 in the morning because a very important set of keys accidently got locked in the car... but we made it home safe and sound. We have been one very happy family this week. Mackenzie crawled around the house and said nothing but, "Dad, Daa" all day on Saturday. Mommy is happy to have Daddy home, Mackenzie is happy to have Daddy home, and I'm pretty sure Daddy is happy to be home. He took the most beautiful pictures... I'll post them next!

My dad claims he only wore this mosquito netting for 3 mins. and Jake make him put it back on for a picture... he's so cute, isn't he?

Uncle Andy, Andy, my Dad, and the Hubba-Hubba-Hottest-Man-in-the-Universe. The pictures are gorgeous, but the best ones are the ones he is in!
