Pictures From My Lovely Sister's Wedding

Here are pictures from the wonderful wedding! Mr. and Mrs. Dimarcangelo hosted a very nice rehearsal dinner at Easton Bible Church before we headed over to Fellowship Baptist Church for the wedding rehearsal.

It was such a treat that my Aunt Linda (my dad's sister, can you tell??) made it in time for the rehearsal dinner. She helped me with Mackenzie so I didn't miss the entire night and it was just so good to see her since I haven't seen her since my own wedding!

Uncle Andrew lovin' on the tired, little flower girl...

We got up at 4 a.m. to go get our hair done. I love that Amy wore her hair down, it looked gorgeous and it made her the most stunning bride I've ever seen... just the right amount of make up and natural beauty... she was striking!I love this picture of her running to get in the limo... this is the moment when I feel like the day became a blur... I don't remember anything from the limo ride till the end of the reception (except for a few highlights from the ceremony, like the way Amy looked walking down the aisle and Andrew forgetting his own name for the vows!)

See what I mean... she is just so pretty. Her make up was perfect, just enough to make her beautiful features stand out. Her hair was perfect for her dress and veil. The jewelry my dad got her was perfect for the dress too... everything was just PERFECT!

Her dress was so simple (per Andrew's request... he doesn't like lace) but made her look so elegant. Her flowers were beautiful, I'm not sure who made them, but she had three really amazing ladies from our church help her with all her flowers.

I think this picture is so cute... it's my mom and Mrs. Miller peeking out to see the church filling up with people. They were so anxious to start!

I love this picture too of Amy kissing Mackenzie. She was such a good little flower (or "un"flower girl... she couldn't carry any flowers because even walking was a stretch!). She held Stephen and Emily's hands and walked very slowly down the aisle until she got about half way down and then she just stopped and refused to keep going. The each gave her a little tug, but she just kept trying to sit down and wouldn't take another step. Uncle Stephen was prepped for a situation like this and did what any good uncle would do... he scooped her up and carried her down the rest of the way and into the waiting arms of Mrs. Chung! The crowd clapped and cheered... they were both adorable!

She liked walking around with one shoe on and one shoe off afterwards.

She got "swarmed" afterwards by all the "loving littles" (as Jake and I refer to the four youngest cousins as... they can't get enough of Mackenzie) They are so sweet with her, even if she doesn't realize it. She needs to grow in patience with all the love she recieves (and so does Mommy!)

I love this picture of Amy and my dad!! They danced to a beautiful version of "Isn't She Lovely"... it was really sweet!
Amy designed this cake herself. It was so pretty and fit her black, white, and red theme perfectly. The whole wedding was so pretty, she worked so hard and it all paid off!

This is basically all they did ALL day... from the moment my dad said, "You may now kiss the bride" they did not stop smooching!
I hope these pictures give you a little taste of the day! God was so kind and held off the rain for all the important parts. There were only two glitches I'm aware of, her bouquet was dropped before she went down the aisle (but was easy to fix and looked beautiful still) and their limo was 45 mins. late... the same thing happened at our wedding which is kinda weird. They were totally chill about it though and just hang out smooching each other and saying goodbye to their guests. It was a wonderful, wonderful day and now they are having a wonderful time in Orlando as Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Dimarcangelo!! (It is still kinda weird to get used to saying Amy Dimarcangelo, I didn't even think about her last name changing until I saw it on Facebook and it hit me like a brick in the head!)

I just love this picture of our little girl... she's turning from a baby to a toddler right before our eyes! Today was real special. She was going to take a bath and was all naked ready to get in, when she started trying to get in all by herself! She was putting her knee up on the side of the tub trying to lauch herself in. Well, I thought it was so cute (dangerous yes, but still so darn cute!) that I ran to get my camera only to step in a puddle of pee! She had managed to have a little accident going from her bedroom to the bathroom... so instead of grabbing my camera, I had to grab the Resolve. After I had finished cleaning the carpet, I realized that she was being very quiet... never a good thing, I'm learning! I go back into the bathroom and she had actually managed to launch herself into the tub and was playing so happily by herself... quite proud that she got in there without Mommy's help (which won't be happening again for a long time!) This all happened in a matter of a minute, so don't think I was just leaving her to drown, but the whole thing just made me laugh. Then after I got her out of the tub, she took off in her towel. She's never done this before and it cracked me up watching her trying to walk with this big towel hanging off of her! She can barely stand up as it is, let alone walk with a soggy wet towel attached to her head!

Another Fun Day In Philly

On Tuesday Mackenzie and I went over to Philly to visit our friends Julia and Grace who live there and we got to hang out with our friends Lily and Caleb too! We all went to Penn Treaty Park and the toddlers enjoyed the slide and swings! Afterwards we went back to Julia's and had lunch together and then put the babies down for naps and we actually got them all to sleep at the same time had almost an hour of quiet all to ourselves... it was amazing!

I know this picture is dark, but I like that you can see the bridge in the background!

Fun, fun, weekend!

We had a fun weekend! Friday night we had a bachelorette party for Amy at Angie's house. We made up songs about Amy and Andrew that, in my opinion, were absolutely hilarious! We ate tons of food and talked and played other games and opened presents. Then the other married bridesmaids and I slept over... we stayed up talking till 3 a.m. when I finally decided I had to go to bed, even if it meant missing the fun. Thankfully, everyone else decided it was time to go to bed too, so I didn't miss anything... phew! Amy loved the songs we wrote about her and Drew!
Jamie and me with our growing bellies!
Saturday was a fun family day at home. We accomplished a lot, but still spent time enjoying one another. Mackenzie loves "zooming" on the hammock with Daddy, it's a little blurry, but they go so fast!
She liked exploring the yard with me... I finally let her go and just let her crawl around, she thought she was the biggest deal in the whole world!
Jake went to Andrew's bachelor party on Sunday afternoon. First they threw Andrew in the trunk of Jeff's car and drove him home from church to Jeff's house, then they made him dress up like a girl (black strapless dress with a blond wig) and go to Walmart to buy Iron Man. Jake got a video of it on his phone, but unfortuntely it's on its side. It is so funny though so I had to post it. The guy at the check out said, "What'd you lose a bet or something" and Jeff told him that it was Andrew's bachelor party and Andrew added that he was "getting married to a woman!"

Our Fun Trip To Florida!!

Mackenzie and I just got back from a wonderful trip to Florida to see Mackenzie's Nana and Poppop! We flew Sat. night and came home Mon. night, it was a short, but GREAT trip! Mackenzie loved playing with her Poppop!
Nana liked trying different hats on Mackenzie!
She wasn't a big fan of the cowgirl look though...
She adored the pool though... look at her with her little legs crossed just hanging out!
We found Snow White at the Orlando airport. She sat so pretty next to her...

But then...
She thought she'd be pretty brave...
And stand up...
And try to touch Snow White's hands!
Whew... she lived... she smiled nicely for this picture and didn't try to attack Snow White either!
We had fun together. It was a nice little Mommy and Mackenzie get away. I got to spend lots of time with her without the distractions of cleaning and maintaining the house. She was so cute on the beach and really enjoyed swimming in the pool. Both flights went so well too!
I haven't had time to stop for one second since we got home. Tonight is a party for Amy and then only two more weeks to her wedding! I'm looking forward to going away with Jake for our first overnight without Mackenzie the weekend after... it will nice to finally have time together without distraction!
